Innovations in Prenatal Care

One major milestone unique to NTD Labs is the patented dried blood sampling technique which simplifies specimen collection and handling.

A History of Innovation

Since its inception, NTD Labs has demonstrated a history of innovation, beginning with its work in neural tube defect research and continuing to where it stands today on the vanguard of prenatal care and genetic screening.

1976 NTD Labs founder J.N. Macri, Ph.D. introduces AFP screening for neural tube defects in the United States of America.
1983 NTD Labs is founded by Dr. Macri as a prenatal screening and research laboratory.
