The cost of the Ultra-Screen protocol
The Ultra-Screen protocol consists of an ultrasound examination and a blood test, which are billed separately.
The Blood Screen
The blood test portion of the Ultra-Screen protocol is provided by NTD Labs at a cost of $160. This fee is generally covered by insurance companies, and in many cases the patient is responsible only for the associated insurance co-payment.
The ultrasound examination
The second part of the Ultra-Screen protocol involves an ultrasound examination that will be billed directly to you by the physician or testing facility that conducts the examination. The cost of the ultrasound procedure may vary based upon your location, as well as by the coverage provided by your insurance company.
