Instant Risk
Assessment

What is IRA? A simple process to
provide a first trimester Down Syndrome screening
result at the time the Nuchal Translucency is
measured.
As
early as 9 weeks of gestation, but up to 13 weeks
the patients blood specimen is collected and sent to
NTD Labs to be analyzed for free Beta and PAPP-A.
This program is designed to be utilized by the
patient with the home collection packet. If
the physician would rather, the blood specimen can
be obtained in their office.
Between 11 weeks 1 day and 13 weeks 6 days gestation (when
the NT is being performed) the physician connects to
NTD Labs and inputs the NT data. A complete
report including the NT and Biochemistry can be
printed immediately at the physicians office.
